Numbers 22:32
And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because [thy] way is perverse before me
Strongs H3399 Yarat (yawrat) to precipitate or hurl (rush) head long; Intransitively to be rash: to be perverse, turn over
In this context it means to be presumptive and move ahead without thinking hurling yourself into trouble.
So Father, we pray YOU will keep us from impatience, & presumptive pride that leads to acting rash with out tongues, or with our other actions and give us GRACE to WAIT on YOU and not just go ahead and do things because we think it’s ok. Help us by Your grace to walk in OBEDIENCE.
Numbers 23:21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God [is] with him, and the shout of a king [is] among them.

From 5998; toil, ie wearing effort; hence, worry whether of body or mind: -grievance (vousness), iniquity, labour, mischief, miserable (-sery), painful, perverseness, sorrow, toil, travail, trouble, wearisome, wickedness.
Father, we confess that worry is a perversion of the truth of YOUR faithfulness & TRUSTING in YOU. We ask YOU to by Your grace keep us from this type of perversion & to help us take every thought captive to Jesus. Help us to remain in the truth of YOUR WORD, & destroy UNBELIEF in our hearts. Give us a United heart to fear Your name, & to know You will never leave us nor forsake us or our families.
Deuteronomy 32:5
They have corrupted themselves, their spot [is] not [the spot] of his children: [they are] a perverse & crooked generation.

Father, we can see from this, that any act that departs from Your will or Your commands is PERVERSION in Your eyes. So we ask for Your grace and mercy to keep us from presumptive sin and all the temptations of the evil one. Keep our minds STAYED on YOU LORD, and grant us GRACE to overcome all the little foxes that spoil the vine. We want to walk in the light as YOU are in the light in JESUS name. Give us the MIND of CHRIST, and the Patience of Christ to enable us to persevere in times of temptation and trials. In JESUS mighty name.
Leviticus 18:20 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination.
Mankind here is male & womankind - female which should be obvious.
To lie down: strongs H7901 Shakab (shaw-kab). To lie down(for rest, sexual connection, decease or any other purpose) : X at all, cast down, ((lover-))lay (self) down, (make to) lie (down, down to sleep, still with), lodge, ravish, take rest,sleep, stay.
& abomination is: H8441
tow’ ebah (to-ay-baw’)
Or tonebah; fem active participle of 8581; properly, something disgusting (morally), ie (as noun) an abhorrence; especially idolatry or (concretely) an idol: abominable (custom, thing), abomination
Deviation from all Your laws is perversion LORD & adultery in Your eyes. We ask YOU to destroy any lust in our hearts that perverts our thinking or actions. Keep us from the evil around us Abba & keep our spouses, & families from the perversion seen on TV, Movies, & games, cartoons or books, comics, etc. Our society in the world has pulled away from HE WHO IS TRUTH. Grant us grace to overcome any temptation to compromise with our eyes or ears, & to focus on YOU over the distortions in the world Abba. Help us to overcome evil with good.
Help us to set a moral example for others & to not entertain mocking or underestimating sin, & taking Your grace for granted. Your word says that if we agree with another’s sin, we are also guilty of it. So guard our hearts & minds with the mind of Christ, & correct us when we have compromised, that we can repent immediately & turn from anything that offends YOU ABBA. In JESUS name. Help us to always be KIND in the face of opposition & mocking despite the perversity.
1 Samuel 20:30 Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, & he said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious [woman], do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, & unto the confusion of thy mother's nakedness?

To crook, Literally or figuratively as follows: do Amiss, Bow down, make crooked, commit iniquity, pervert, do perversly, trouble, X turn, do wickedly, do wrong
Life and death are in the power of our tongue You said Lord, so help us to bring our tongues into alignment with Your will, that we would not offend YOU or others when possible. Help us walk in a spirit of OBEDIENCE to Your will for our lives, in JESUS name. We RENOUNCE PERVERSION and break the power of any generational perversion in our family. We will NOT LAUGH at what is an abomination to YOU LORD. HELP us to consider Your heart on things that matter.
2 Sam 19:19 And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

Job 6:30 Is there iniquity in my tongue? cannot my taste discern perverse things?
Discern: Strongs H 995 to separate mentally (or distinguish), i.e.(generally) understand:--attend, consider, be cunning, diligently, direct, discern, eloquent, feel, inform, instruct, have intelligence, know, look well to, mark, perceive, be prudent, regard, (can) skill(-full), teach, think, (cause, make to, get, give, have) understand(-ing), view, (deal) wise(-ly, man).
Job 9:20 If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: [if I say], I [am] perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.
Str H 6150 a primitive root; to knot or distort; figuratively, to pervert (act or declare perverse):--make crooked, (prove, that is) perverse(-rt).
Wow, this is so true even in New Testament like James says.
Lord help us to not justify ourselves before men.
It’s so amazing how God works, & also gives us object lessons. Just yesterday got an email from unknown persons who called themselves “apostles” correcting me for ‘listening to other voices in the prophetic community because it’s so contaminated with mixture.’ Which may be true, but they twisted some things out of context & had zero relationship with me, to be correcting me.
It was partly right in some of their comments, but they were ASSUMING about me things they had no idea about. Graham Cooke always says, assuming makes an ass out of you & me. Underestimating others is such a grievious thing to do. And we’ve all done it. But our reactions to others, God is always watching. Let your gentleness be known to all it says in Philippians 4:5. God knows I have blown it so many times, so let no condemnation into your heart. It only leads to spiraling depression. Repent, praise God for helping you gradually overcome, and go on daily washing your feet, and praying for more of Him.

Psalm 101:4. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.

Ps 119:78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: [but] I will meditate in thy precepts.

Father, Sharpen our discernment by giving us GRACE to read & understand Your Word. Grant us illumination of scripture that we would understand & be able to share that understanding with others with wisdom from above. Keep us sharp in discernment & keep us from demonic influences that try to keep us too busy or distracted to read Your word or DO Your Word!
Keep us from thinking to much of ourselves, as pride is a perversion as well. We need to think of ourselves the way YOU see us. We acknowledge it is pride that makes us think we are less that You SAY, & also pride that makes us think we know better or are better than others, that makes us underestimate others. Keep us from all arrogance & presumption Abba. Convict us quickly before it even comes out of our mouths. In Jesus name.
Proverbs 4:24. Put away from you a deceitful mouth & put devious speech far from you.
KJV: Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Froward - H 6141 -from 6141; perversity:--X froward
Perverse - H 3891 - from 3868; perverseness:--perverse
3868: a primitive root; to turn aside (compare 3867, 3874 and 3885), i.e. (literally) to depart, (figuratively) be perverse:--depart, froward, perverse(-ness).
3867 a primitive root; properly, to twine, i.e. (by implication) to unite, to remain; also to borrow (as a form of obligation) or (caus.) to lend:--abide with, borrow(-er), cleave, join (self), lend(-er).
Lord, keep us from REBELLION in our hearts against Your words. Show us when the enemy speaks perversion to our hearts, that we will not walk in deception, delusion, or self will.
Proverbs 6:14 Who with perversity in his heart continually devises evil, Who spreads strife.
Again we see the perversity referring to willful sin & participating in lies.
Proverbs 8:8 All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them.
So again perversity is turning away from righteousness. IT IS THE TWISTING SERPENT, taking the word and twisting it in our minds to get us to rebel like he did towards God. 🐍
Lord, in James it lets us know that no one is perfect in their speech. Though we try, we so often fail but we ask for YOUR GRACE to change our hearts that we wouldn’t even THINK in unrighteous terms. Purify our hearts to reflect Your heart. Bind our hearts to YOUR heart Abba, that we would think and express ourselves reflecting YOUR heart. Help us to enter Your courts with PRAISE that we might enter Your presence and be changed by You, as apart from YOU, we can do nothing.
Proverbs 11:3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
Proverbs 12:8. A man will be praised according to his insight,but one of perverse mind will be despised.
Father, we want people to see YOU when they encounter us. That they would KNOW how much You are LOVE. Fill us with YOUR love for others we encounter that we would see them as YOU see them. That we would speak as YOU would speak to them.
Proverbs 14:2 He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but [he that is] perverse in his ways despiseth him
Proverbs 15:4 A soothing tongue is a tree of life, But perversion in it crushes the spirit.
Father, Your Word says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, so grant us by Your grace the wisdom to know what to say and to never be the cause of others being crushed with our words. We do NOT want to offend others with perverse speech or attitudes of heart that would crush their spirit.
Your Word says a soothing tongue is a tree of life, so give us YOUR wisdom when we speak Holy Spirit. Take over our heart that our tongues would bring LIFE to others. Forgive us for the times we have failed, & lead us into paths of righteousness & wisdom for Your name’s sake. In JESUS name.
Proverbs 17:20 He who has a crooked mind finds no good, & he who is perverted in his language falls into evil.
I know someone who used really crude & filthy words to bring correction to pastors, & justified her attitude, when it was really her own anger lashing out at them. Most of those I know would never talk to a pastor, no matter his sins, with that kind of attitude of heart or manner. It grieved me but I could only pray because she wasn’t ready or wanting to hear correction.
Proverbs 19:1 Better [is] the poor that walketh in his integrity, than [he that is] perverse in his lips,& is a fool.
Proverbs 28:6 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than he who is crooked though he be rich.
Now there is a bottom line for us also. It’s better to be poor & walk in right standing with God, than to be rich & walk in wickedness.
Proverbs 28:18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but [he that is] perverse [in his] ways shall fall at once.
Yes, PRIDE comes before a fall. And we are about to see some mighty falls in this nation & around the world.
Isaiah 19:14 The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: & they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken [man] staggereth in his vomit.
Wow! Now that’s a clear picture. Perverse spirits cause one to err in every work, like a man staggering in his vomit; Wallowing in muck. Remember Jesus said, it’s not what goes into your mouth that make you unclean, but what comes out of your mouth, from your heart. And Egypt was a good example of perversity for sure, full of adulteries against God, worshiping demons & sacrificing to them. Our own nation now is the same.
Lord, please heal & deliver us from the idolatries of our forefathers, & our own selves, for this world is full of the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life, full of murder & adulteries. Do NOT deliver us or our families to the wild beasts of the earth Abba. Help us to have self control, & to resist the temptations that so easily beset us & that are all around us. Help us to by Your grace to READ YOUR WORD & LIVE IT. Increase our RESISTANCE to evil & strengthen our conscience. Heal & Deliver our soul from any of satan’s strongholds that we can walk in righteousness.
Isaiah 30:12
Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression & perverseness, & stay thereon:
Isaiah 59:3
For your hands are defiled with blood, & your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
Lord sometimes we forget the principles of Your Word, & are tempted by our pride to discount our own sins of hatred & resentment, anger & animosity. It is hard to live around violent people like LOT did, & You acknowledged in Hebrews that his soul was tormented by what he experienced daily. It seems very much like that now Abba. WE NEED YOU DESPERATELY NOW LORD in greater measure. Holy Spirit take over our spirit, soul & body. Have YOUR WAY with us, & keep us from all the strategies of the enemy. EMPOWER our will & endurance with courage & supernatural FAITH. For JESUS said, when I return, will I find FAITH on earth.
Ezekiel 9:9. Then He said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel & Judah is very, very great, & the land is filled with blood & the city is full of perversion; for they say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land, & the Lord does not see!’
Lord this is so fitting to our time and circumstances NOW. The blood of the innocents is upon the land, & even the youth are killing each other & others, full of demons from many sources, & not understanding the depth of their own deception or lack of moral compass. Lord HELP US to be LIGHT in this darkness! ARISE JESUS, as You have said You would with HEALING in YOUR WINGS, & Destroy the enemy’s forces over our lives & nations.
Matthew 17:17. And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.”
UNBELIEF is a perversion. From the start the enemy has been saying DID GOD SAY? Casting doubt & unbelief on man to trip us up. God showed me once through an experience online watching the zeitgeist movie, years ago, the major spirit of this end times was a strong spirit of UNBELIEF. Again, JESUS said, “when I return, will I find FAITH on earth?” It came in my room, as I was watching the second half of the movie which was designed to instill unbelief in any kind of religion. And it was projecting powerful thoughts in my head against belief in Jesus, & the bible. That is when the Holy Spirit showed me this was what we are now battling. It is the root of all the WITCHCRAFT, DIVINATION, SORCERY & IDOLATRY around us. Remember the tribe of DAN?
They are not listed in the book of Revelation among the tribes. Why is that? Unbelief & Impatience, which led to IDOLATRY.
Acts 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them
Well we sure have been seeing this for a while haven’t we? Drawing disciples after them it says. Instead of leading men & women to JESUS, many leading you to THEM.
Lord, help us to recognize the wolves in sheeps clothing, & the signs of the age. Give us YOUR discernment Lord as we read Your Word. Illuminate the scriptures for us and grant us WISDOM from you for this hour coming on the earth. Keep us in the palm of Your hand as You say ABBA!
1 Corinthians 6:9 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
No matter what the world says, GOD’s Word will endure & never fail. There is only one way to the Father, through JESUS His Son as HE said. Father send blood soaked truth angels to all those bound by sexual perversion & reveal JESUS to them Lord. For YOU are not willing for any to perish. Invade their homes with Your Kingdom & Loose REVELATION & Your love that leads to repentance. GRANT us YOUR heart & vision for those caught up in perversion & the anointing that breaks the yoke off them. Help us to BE LOVE to the world that is in confusion. (Babel = confusion & is being rebuilt spiritually) For YOU died for ALL our sins, no matter how great or small. Teach us YOUR wisdom, & allow us to speak by Your HOLY SPIRIT in all the situations we run into daily, & in conversations with others around us. Tenderize the hearts of those bound in spiritual prisons Abba, & give us courage & anointing to heal & deliver in Jesus name when it’s Your timing & will.
2 Corinthians 5:10 - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless & harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked & perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
1 Timothy 6:5 ...& constant friction between men of depraved mind & deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.
KJV: Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Lord help us to recognize those of a depraved mind & heart & to not be taken in by their lies. Help us to not give in to unsanctified mercy that does not help but only hinders growth in others.
James 1:14-15 - But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Lord, help us to recognize when we are falling in to a pattern of lust, enticed by the enemy. You said we can resist the enemy & he will flee. Help us to overcome all, that we can walk in peace, joy, & love & to love others as You love them, & love things less than people around us who need Your love.
1 Peter 2:1-25 - Wherefore laying aside all malice, & all guile, & hypocrisies, & envies, & all evil speakings
This alone is a powerful prayer, so help us to lay aside all these evil sins Abba. Convict us when we are tempted right away. Don’t let us wander away from Truth & conviction. Convict us QUICKLY HOLY SPIRIT.
1 John 2:1-29 - My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not & if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Thank YOU LORD for Your great MERCY and LOVINGKINDNESSES, with which You have poured upon us. Thank YOU that You gave us access to Your throne of GRACE that we can come to you anytime we need to confess our sins, & to gain strength from You to overcome.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, & denying the only Lord God, & our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lasciviousness: Greek 766 aselgea. Ασελγεια licentiousness (sometimes including other vices):--filthy, lasciviousness, wantonness.
Merriam Webster definition of lascivious
: filled with or showing sexual desire : LEWD, LUSTFUL
lascivious acts/thoughts, arrested for lewd & lascivious assault
las·civ·i·ous (lə-sĭv′ē-əs) adj.
1. Given to or expressing lust; lecherous. 2. Exciting sexual desires; salacious.
Bible dictionary: Unbridled sensuality; excess. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, & the Spirit against the flesh: & these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, LASCIVIOUSNESS. ( Galatians 5:17-19 )
Amplified version
Jude 1:4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
But the Wycliffe says this:
Jude 1:4 For some unfaithful men privily entered, that sometime were before-written into this doom, & overturn the grace of our God into lechery, & deny him that is only a Lord, our Lord Jesus Christ. [Forsooth some men privily entered, that sometime were before-written into this doom, unpious men, overturning the grace of our God into lechery, & denying the alone lordshipper & our Lord Jesus Christ.]
My impressions in reading the first verse at the top was that these men who he says “were before of old” sounds like the nephilim. People with tainted geneology!!
But then I read the amplified & it did not give that impression at all. So then I looked to the Wycliffe version From which the king James version came & the Wycliffe is more precise than the king James even in some Circumstances. And it looks to me like it also gives that same impression of some thing previously ordained to that weakness of sin. Of course God can redeem anyone.
Father, Break the chains of past generations off of us in JESUS name! We renounce all perversion, LUST, Lasciviousness or Sins of sexual impurity in past generations of our family, & we ask that YOU deliver us from all evil. Father, we recognize there is much in the past generations that we do not know. So we ask YOU to show us anything that stands in the way of us getting freedom to be & do all YOU want us to be & do. We appropriate the cross to these things. Deliver us from any LIES we have swallowed & show us where we fall short of the mark of holiness unto the Lord. Bring us FREEDOM ABBA that we can worship YOU in every way without hindrances. Do not allow us to walk in deception or delusion about what is sin in our lives, In the name and the blood of JESUS.
