The Restoration of God's Children

Malachi 4: 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
As the Lord begins to reveal the deeper truths in the word of God we are now beginning to receive and understanding of how and why the Lord is going to fulfill His exceedingly great and precious promises written in the word of God. We are given above one of these precious promises of the hearts of the fathers (both natural and spiritual) being turned back to the children. What we see here, among many other prophetic "messages" is a "type" of restoration and reconciliation on all levels. It is a type not only of reconciliation between fathers and sons in the natural and spiritual fathers (type of apostolic ministry) and sons (the body of Christ) but also a type of the prodigal son in which all the prodigals are being returned and restored back to the Father.
Hidden in the story of Elijah and the slaying of the prophets of Baal is a type of how this restoration and reconciliation will occur. The deeperend time truths that have been kept secret are now being revealed as the Father now chooses to show us how He plans of fulfilling His exceedingly great and precious promises that He has made to us. It will be the spirit of Elijah that will reconcile and restore god's
children by anointing true apostolic leadership that will ultimately be responsible for the destruction of that which is keeping God's people in bondage. Specifically these things are compromising church government that operates in agreement with a religious spirit and a religious spirit that promotes false prophets who seduce God's children to worship and heed to the spirit of antichrist. This is all hidden in types in the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 17 through 2 Kings 10 and should be read to gain the full context of this teaching.
In this time period the king of Israel Ahab married a "foreign" woman named Jezebel. The name Ahab is [0256] in the Strong's concordance and means "father's brother". Ahab is a type of church leadership that has not been anointed or ordained by the Father. It is a type of all of those who have received their position in the church via the ordination of man rather than by inheritance or ordination by the Father. It was upon the throne of David that Jesus would sit. Jesus received his leadership by appointment. Israel split from Judah and thus the lineage of anointed leadership did not run through their kingly line but rather through Judah.
Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
The name Jezebel is [0348] in the Strongs concordance and means "Baal exalts" or "Baal is husband to" or "unchaste". This is a type of church leadership marrying or covenanting with Jezebel who is "married" to her false god or husband Baal. Baal is [01168] in the Strong's concordance and means "lord". One of the primary uses of the word "lord" is in the context of provision and husband. Baal was the principal MALE god of the Cannanites. Baal is a type of the spirit of ANTICHRIST who is manifest as a MALE (Revelation 13) to be a substitute for Jesus our husband or provider. The word antichrist in addition to being "against" Christ (the anointed one and His anointing) means "instead of" of "substitute".
So Baal is really the "spirit of antichrist" we see in the world today that lies and sets itself up as our husband or provider. It seeks to substitute itself for our true husband or provider which is Jesus Christ. The mechanism that satan uses to promote the antichrist spirit is through religion therefore Jezebel is a type of the religious spirit. The main goal of the religious spirit is to infiltrate 'leadership' and influence the "kingly" calling or church government and substitute the spirit of antichrist for Jesus our husband.
One of the main manifestations of the religious spirit is to kill the prophets. The prophets are a type of the true word of God being set before God's people to reveal the heart of the Father, his intentions, and His plans and purposes. The substitute can only be presented when the truth is suppressed. Therefore it is the first and foremost goal of the religious spirit to "pave the way" for the spirit of antichrist. Jezebel is Elijah's antithesis in every way. John the Baptist was"Elijah" to his generation in that he "paved the way" or made the way straight for the coming of the Christ. Likewise, Jezebel or the religious spirit paves the way for the coming of the spirit of antichrist. We now pick up on the story of Elijah, Jezebel, and the killing of the prophets of Baal.
1 Kings 18:4 For it was [so], when Jezebel cut off the prophets of theLORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)
We see here two things. First, Jezebel removed all of the true prophets out of the land and replaced them with the prophets of Baal (mentioned later in this chapter). Second, we see a "preservation" of the true prophets of God. In the midst of the "church system" (Ahab) which is controlled by the religious spirit (Jezebel) was left Obadiah. The name Obadiah is [05662] in the Strong's concordance and means "servant of Jehovah". Obadiah is a type of the Holy Spirit who is God's "helper". It is the manifestation of the work of the Holy Spirit as our provider and comforter.In addition to being a helper the Holy Spirit is also a comforter and revealer and provider or those things needed to be restored back to the Father. Here we see Obadiah fed 100 prophets in courses of 50 in caves bread and water (study the number 50, it is constantly connected with the prophetic). Bread is a type of the true word of God and water is a type of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The prophets were hid or preserved in caves. Many of the Lord's true prophets right now are being preserved by the work of the Holy Spirit in caves away from the religious spirit and the church system until the manifestation of the Holy Spirit as the spirit of Elijah completes it's work and anoints apostolic government under which they will be released and flourish.
It is the spirit of Elijah that will be used to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the hearts of the children back to the fathers. The spirit of Elijah is the manifestation of the work of the Holy Spirit in fire or judgment. The mechanism by which this will occur is in the killing of the prophets of Baal and judging Jezebel and Ahab's sons (lineage). The prophets of Baal are all those who are coming into
agreement with the spirit of antichrist (Baal) or that substitute for our Husband and provider Jesus. The "prophets of Baal" is multidimensional. Not only is the spirit of Elijah (fire of God or judgment of God) coming to destroy those who are wholly given over to the spirit of antichrist but He is also coming to "remove" from within the true believer that part of us that is a prophet of Baal. In other words, some will be wholly consumed by the spirit of Elijah because they are wholly given to Baal while others will suffer "loss" of that part of their heart given over to Baal.
In addition to this and perhaps the greater revelation in all this is that Elijah was sent by the Father to anoint Jehu as King over Israel. So firstly by analogy the spirit of Elijah slew the prophets of Baal. Second and more importantly, the spirit of Elijah will then anoint "Jehu" leaders who will ultimately slay Jezebel, the sons of Ahab, and the rest of the prophets of Baal and usher in true revival in the land and turn (restore and reconcile) the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the hearts of the children back to the Father (true unity). In addition the spirit of Elijah will anoint Elisha (true apostolic leadership) and bring complete restoration back to the land.
1 Kings 19:7 And it shall come to pass, [that] him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay. 18 Yet I have left [me] seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.
The seven thousand are a type of the "remnant" in the church who are faithful to the Lord and have not succumb to the spirit of antichrist. So here Elijah is then commissioned to anoint Jehu as King. The name Jehu is [03058] in the Strong's concordance and means "Jehovah is He". It is the AUTHENTIC leadership that is commissioned to hunt down and slay Jezebel.
2 Kings 9:30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard [of it]; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window. 31 And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, [Had] Zimri peace, who slew his master? 32 And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who [is] on my side? who? And there looked out to him two [or] three eunuchs 33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and [some] of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.
Ahab or the old order church government that is ruled by the religious spirit will be given over to STRONG DELUSION and killed by the enemy in battle. We read of this by analogy in:
1 Kings 22: 20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. 21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. 22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade [him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
He was deceived into going to Ramothgilead. The name Ramoth gilead is [07433] in the Strong's concordance and means "heights" or pride by analogy. It was in Ahab's pride that he was judged by the Lord who sent a spirit of strong delusion to him to entice him to move out in pride in battle. The end time church is being sent to Jordan which means "lowland". The church government being ruled by Jezebel will be judged in their pride. We read of Ahab's demise in:
1 Kings 22:34 And a [certain] man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. 35 And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
The word Syrian is [0758] in the Strong's concordance and means "exalted". It is by the hands of the enemies or Jehovah who have exalted themselves against the knowledge of God that the Ahab church government will be judged. The Jehu's will also be commissioned to judge Ahab's sons or offspring. Ahab's sons are those who have been brought up under man's church government and carry with them the "corrupt seed" of their father. They carry with them the same spirit of compromise that their father taught them that is leading the church into agreement and control by the religious spirit.
2 Kings 10: 7 And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him [them] to Jezreel. 8 And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning. 9 And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye [be] righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these? 10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done [that] which he spake by his servant Elijah.
We then see the final judgment that the "Jehu's" are commissioned or anointed for that will bring to set God's people free and turn back their hearts to the Father(s). This is in the judgment of the rest of the prophets of Baal.
2 Kings 10: 18 And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; [but] Jehu shall serve him much. 19 Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice [to do] to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did [it] in subtlety, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
Finally and in conjunction with Jehu, the spirit of Elijah will anoint true apostolic leadership that will build the foundation upon which the church will once again be restored. Elijah anointed Elisha with a double portion anointing. The "double portion" is biblically synonymous with apostolic leadership.
2 Kings 2:9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah
said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away
from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy
spirit be upon me.
It was under the prophetic ministry of Elisha that Jehu judged both Jezebel, the prophets of Baal, and Ahab's sons. It was also under Elisha that the prophetic ministry was restored back to Israel. As we press forward and seek the double portion anointing, which is the fulness of His inheritance in Christ Jesus, we need to be mindful of the Father's plan and be patient as the spirit of Elijah begins to move in our midst
in order to establish His true government. It will be through the Elijah anointing that the Elisha ministry will be established and it will be under the Elisha ministry that the children will be restored back to the Father as the Ahab's, religious spirit, and prophets of Baal are removed from within the church.
