Sword of Damocles - Pray for Potus & All Leadership
6/20/26 - Sword of Damocles
out to dinner with family for a Father's Day special dinner at a place that's been in business 54 years but his closing. Suddenly towards the end of dinner, I heard the words "Sword of Damocles."
I remembered later after getting this word that on the way to the restaurant, my daughter-in-law had been talking with me about the data centers & how many people were being affected negatively by them.
So I looked up Sword of Damocles & pulled out what stood out to me. I do believe this applies to Potus & the need to intercede. It was taking me time to figure it out, & in the meantime, I got struck in the back like with a sword very painful attack.

The Sword of Damocles is an ancient Greek moral anecdote that illustrates the constant danger and anxiety faced by those in positions of power. It symbolizes the precariousness of fortune, where great wealth and authority come with the looming threat of disaster.
Wikipedia
The Sword of Damocles is an ancient Greek moral anecdote,[1][2] an allusion to the imminent and ever-present peril faced by those in positions of power. Its main character, Damocles,[a] was based on a courtier in the court of Dionysius I of Syracuse,[3] a ruler of Syracuse, Sicily, Magna Graecia, during the classical Greek era.
One other interpretation sees the story of the sword of Damocles as explicitly meant for Julius Caesar, implicitly suggesting that he should take care not to act the same way that King Dionysius did, making enemies and denying spiritual life, falling prey to the pitfalls of the tyrant, and mind the sword hanging ever-present over his neck.[10]

"With great power comes great responsibility" is a proverb popularized by Spider-Man in Marvel comics, films, and related media. Introduced by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, it originally appeared as a closing narration in the 1962 Amazing Fantasy #15, and was later attributed to Uncle Ben as advice to the young Peter Parker.
The idea—similar to the 1st century BC parable of the Sword of Damocles and the medieval principle of noblesse oblige—is that power cannot simply be enjoyed for its privileges alone but necessarily makes its holders morally responsible both for what they choose to do with it and for what they fail to do with it.
After I sent this out on my prophetic list, Amanda Grace had a word that confirmed what I felt about this being for our president. So we need to pray amap for awakening, for Holy Spirit to be poured out on him & his family & for their safety & all plans of the enemy to be hindered.
