How Much Do We Love the TRUTH ?

In this the last hour there has been MUCH deception to steal away the ancient foundations of truth laid out in the bible.  The antichrists have made God out to be a hater, and the harlot church has done it’s share to do the same.  They twist the truth to fit their idea of what He should be as they see it.   And everyday our senses are attacked by media, videos, internet articles, commercials on TV and the like to try and tweak us to what THEY think we should believe.  The enemy is increasing his hordes, while a vast majority of the church has gone on believing lies and apostasies that grow prevalent daily.

In THIS HOUR we must STAND our watch and we MUST LOVE THE TRUTH.  The Truth is a person, that is JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD and SAVIOR.  He is the author of the Word, He is the living WORD, and we must eat that scroll, and have it in us as much as possible, for not many days hence, it will be removed, and we will be hiding what we believe to survive.  On the Internet, Christians delve into sites that mask as Christian, but are laced with untruth, ie Mormons, jehovah’s witnesses, new age sites that pretend to be what they are not. There is no lack of lies and error.

There are Christians giving in to JEWISH “roots” that are phariseeical in nature, vs the TRUE JEWISH ROOT Who is a person, YESHUA.  There are people posing as Messianic Jews that also delve into Kabbalah, and some are just NOT SEEING it.  We have been undereducated in the church about witchcraft and the spirit of error, and antichrist which is arising in the earth, and people are so used to being taught rather than listening to the MASTER of all, for what they learn.  They go on in circles, learning but never coming to the truth like Paul said in 2 Timothy.  We must remain alert, and in the WORD in order to survive what is coming.  The error coming comes with a powerful spirit of unbelief. The Lord allowed me to feel it, and it is scarey unbelief.  It comes with mind control / new age spirits.
So ask God to keep you from all deception daily.

2 Tim 3:1-12 AMP    BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear].  2 For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive  (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.

3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate and loose in morals and conduct, uncontrolled and fierce, haters of good.
4 [They will be] treacherous [betrayers], rash, [and] inflated with self-conceit. [They will be] lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.

5 For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].

6 For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate silly and weak-natured and spiritually dwarfed women, loaded down with [the burden of their] sins [and easily] swayed and led away by various evil desires and seductive impulses.  7 [These weak women will listen to anybody who will teach them]; they are forever inquiring and getting information, but are never able to arrive at a recognition and knowledge of the Truth.

8 Now just as Jannes and Jambres were hostile to and resisted Moses, so these men also are hostile to and oppose the Truth. They have depraved and distorted minds, and are reprobate and counterfeit and to be rejected as far as the faith is concerned. [Ex 7:11.]
9 But they will not get very far, for their rash folly will become obvious to everybody, as was that of those [magicians mentioned].   10 Now you have closely observed and diligently followed my teaching, conduct, purpose in life, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
11 Persecutions, sufferings — such as occurred to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra, persecutions I endured, but out of them all the Lord delivered me.  12 Indeed all who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Christ Jesus will meet with persecution [will be made to suffer because of their religious stand].

2 Tim 3:13-14 AMP But wicked men and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and leading astray others and being deceived and led astray themselves. 14 But as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you learned [them],

Ancient Hebrew Lexicon:  TRUTH

Tav = sign.    Seed=continuance   waves of water or blood-mem=sea, water, what     aleph= oxhead, meaning strength and power, also can mean chief or other leader
Truth: what is firm  kjv:truth, true, truly, faithfully, assured, establishment, faithful, sure/  strongs 571 [ firm is seed then water in pictographic form] so this form of truth is taken from that.
Another pictograph for truth is  firmness: faithfulness, truth, faithfully, stability, steady, truly
Strength continuing, hooked into the seed of man  [right to left]

Another word for TRUTH is from SURE:
Strength, hooked . Waters, continuing seed on sea  [right to left]

Another is STAND: Truth: a standing firm and fast as a wall

Then under this form is another with same pictograph: Stand: Hebrew and Aramaic, kjv:
Stand, present, set, withstand, remain, resort, truth / strongs 3320, 3321
     Then under this is
                  TRUTH:  what stands firm. [Aramaic
only]   Kjv: true, truth, certainty, certain  strongs 3330

Now another word for truth comes from WEIGH: as in Truth: a weighing in the balance scale
From this there is:      Q-Sh-WTh – TRUTH: in
the Sense of weighing  kjv: truth / strongs 7187

Gen 32:10-11 NKJV   I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which You have shown Your servant; for I crossed over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies. 11 Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and attack me and the mother with the children

Ex 18:20-21 NKJV Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

Ex 34:6-7 NKJV  And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation."

Deut 32:4 NKJV He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

Josh 24:14 NKJV "Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord!

1 Sam 12:23-25 NKJV   Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. 25 But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king."

1 Kings 3:6 NKJV And Solomon said: "You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

2 Kings 20:2-3 NKJV Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3 "Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Job 32:14-15 AMP Now [Job] has not directed his words against me [therefore I have no cause for irritation], neither will I answer him with speeches like yours. [I speak for truth, not for revenge.] 15 [Job's friends] are amazed and embarrassed, they answer no more; they have not a thing to say [reports Elihu].

Ps 25:5 NKJV  Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
All day long we need to seek HIM.  To walk in awareness of His presence in us and around us, as He is ever longing to speak to us, if we will only keep our eyes on Him.  He will teach us all we need to know.

Ps 25:10 NKJV  All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Ps 40:10 NKJV  I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly.

How many in the church have done this one underestimating the sheep and keeping truth from them ?  This was the whole premise in the Catholic church for centuries, because only the priest could interpret the Word.  It is a gospel of exclusivity.  Only the inner persons, the ones who are privileged get to come into the whole truth. Mormons do this also.  Not many regular mormons know what goes on in the main temples in their occultic ceremonies.

Ps 43:3-4 NKJV   Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.  4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

His truth leads us into the light. Jesus said, Walk in the light as I am in the light.

Ps 45:3-6 NKJV   Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O Mighty One, With Your glory and Your majesty.  4 And in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness; And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things. 5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies; The peoples fall under You. 6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

His WORD is like an arrow that flies into the camp of the evil one shattering darkness of the soul.  His Word brings LIGHT.

Ps 45:7-9 NKJV You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions. 8 All Your garments are scented with myrrh and aloes and cassia, Out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made You glad.  9 Kings' daughters are among Your honorable women; At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.

The above is all about HE Who is the TRUTH.

Ps 51:6-7 AMP  Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart.  7 Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow.
Ps 51:7-11 CJB
7(5) True, I was born guilty, was a sinner from the moment my mother conceived me.
8(6) Still, you want truth in the inner person; so make me know wisdom in my inmost heart. 9(7) Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 10(8) Let me hear the sound of joy and gladness, so that the bones you crushed can rejoice. 11(9) Turn away your face from my sins, and blot out all my crimes.

God wants us to know TRUTH in our inner being, our soul: our emotions, will and mind. This is what frees us from the strongholds of lies the enemy has sown in those areas.
TRUTH is a WEAPON of our warfare !

Ps 54:5 NKJV   He will repay my enemies for their evil. Cut them off in Your truth.

Ps 57:3-4 NKJV   He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah  God shall send forth His mercy and His truth. 4 My soul is among lions; I lie among the sons of men Who are set on fire, Whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.

Ps 57:10 NKJV For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds.

Ps 60:4-5 NKJV  You have given a banner to those who fear You, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah 5 That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.

Ps 61:6-8 NKJV You will prolong the king's life, His years as many generations.
7 He shall abide before God forever. Oh, prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him!   8 So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may daily perform my vows.

His truth preserves us.

Ps 69:13-14 NKJV   But as for me, my prayer is to You, O Lord, in the acceptable time;
O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation.  14 Deliver me out of the mire, And let me not sink; Let me be delivered from those who hate me, And out of the deep waters.

Ps 85:10-11 NKJV  Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. 11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
Ps 85:10-13 THE MESSAGE
10 Love and Truth meet in the street, Right Living and Whole Living embrace and kiss!
11 Truth sprouts green from the ground, Right Living pours down from the skies!
12 Oh yes! God gives Goodness and Beauty; our land responds with Bounty and Blessing.
13 Right Living strides out before him, and clears a path for his passage.
Ps 85:10-14 CJB   10(9) His salvation is near for those who fear him, so that glory will be in our land.   11(10) Grace and truth have met together; justice and peace have kissed each other.   12(11) Truth springs up from the earth, and justice looks down from heaven. 13(12) Adonai will also grant prosperity;  our land will yield its harvest.
14(13) Justice will walk before him and make his footsteps a path.

Ps 86:11-13 NKJV   Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth;  Unite my heart to fear Your name. 12 I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And I will glorify Your name forevermore. 13 For great is Your mercy toward me,
And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

TRUTH brings the FEAR OF THE LORD to bear on our lives.

Ps 86:15 NKJV   But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Ps 89:14-18 NKJV   Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face.  15 Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.  16 In Your name they rejoice all day long, And in Your righteousness they are exalted. 17 For You are the glory of their strength, And in Your favor our horn is exalted.  18 For our shield belongs to the Lord, And our king to the Holy One of Israel.
Ps 89:49-51 NKJV   Lord, where are Your former lovingkindnesses, which You swore to David in Your truth?  50  Remember, Lord, the reproach of Your servants —  How I bear in my bosom the reproach of all the many peoples, 51 With which Your enemies have reproached, O Lord, With which they have reproached the footsteps of Your anointed.

Ps 91:4 NKJV  He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

HIS TRUTH is OUR SHIELD for if we have faith, it is based on believing the Truth of His Word.  What is a buckler ? Bucklers protect our arms. Our arms are used for doing all manner of things, fighting, praying, working, reaching out to others.
Ans.com: A small, round shield either carried or worn on the arm.

Ps 96:13 NKJV For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.

8 They stand fast forever and ever, And are done in truth and uprightness.
Ps 115:1-2 NKJV    Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth. 2 Why should the Gentiles say, "So where is their God?"
Ps 117:2 NKJV  For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord endures forever.  Praise the Lord!

Ps 119:43-45 NKJV  And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,
For I have hoped in Your ordinances. 44 So shall I keep Your law continually, Forever and ever.  45   And I will walk at liberty , For I seek Your precepts.
If we adhere to the TRUTH of His word, we will walk in liberty. Repentance brings joy, because you are in TRUTH with the Son of God, and Holy Spirit, and Father God.  Walking in the truth, gives us freedom to receive from God the fullness of His blessings and revelation is one of those.  Even if we go through difficult circumstances, if we stand on the TRUTH, we will walk in liberty/freedom to be and do all God wants us to be and do.

Ps 145:18-19 NKJV   The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. 19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.

The Lord wants us to be HONEST with Him as well. He already knows the truth about us, so we may as well. We can’t hide anything from His eyes.  And as we are honest about how we feel, our need for healing, deliverance, etc…it says HE WILL FULFILL the desire of those who fear Him.  THAT IS AWESOME.  We just need to no longer hide.  It is so human to hide, like Adam and Eve did in the garden. They hid themselves from shame.  We tend to do the same when we mess up. We run and hide instead of getting back behind the veil again and being honest with the Lord.  But perfect LOVE casts down all fear of what He may do. The TRUTH of His love for us will wipe away every lie the enemy has sold us.  We need to RUN into His arms of LOVE.  HE is the TRUTH that sets FREE.

Ps 146:6-7 NKJV Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever, 7 Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.

Prov 3:3-5 NKJV   Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, 4  And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

So if we hold truth dear, and walk in it, then we will find FAVOR in the sight of God and man.

Prov 8:7 NKJV For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
Prov 12:17-18 NKJV  He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit. 18 There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health.

Prov 14:22 NKJV Do they not go astray who devise evil? But mercy and truth belong to those who devise good.

Prov 22:20-23 NKJV  Have I not written to you excellent things Of counsels and knowledge, 21 That I may make you know the certainty of the words of truth, that you may answer words of truth To those who send to you? 22 Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Nor oppress the afflicted at the gate; 23 For the Lord will plead their cause, And plunder the soul of those who plunder them.

Prov 23:23 AMP  Buy the truth and sell it not; not only that, but also get discernment and judgment, instruction and understanding.

SELL IT NOT ! Wow, that’s not one paid much attention to these days.  Many claim to be purveyors of truth, and they charge hefty prices for it.  Truth also brings DISCERNMENT, judgment, instruction and understanding…wow that’s quite a return on sowing into truth !

Prov 29:14 NKJV  The king who judges the poor with truth, His throne will be established forever.

Prov 29:24-25 NKJV Whoever is a partner with a thief hates his own life; He swears to tell the truth, but reveals nothing.  25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

Eccl 12:10-11 NKJV The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright — words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd.

Ezekiel 34 talks about the ONE SHEPHERD who will watch over his sheep. Remember how Jesus told the people, not to call any man “father” because they have one Father Who is in heaven ?  Quite the food for thought !

Isa 65:16-17 AMP   So [it shall be] that he who invokes a blessing on himself in the land shall do so by saying, May the God of truth and fidelity [the Amen] bless me; and he who takes an oath in the land shall swear by the God of truth and faithfulness to His promises [the Amen], because the former troubles are forgotten and because they are hidden from My eyes. [2 Cor 1:20; Rev 3:14.]   17 For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth. And the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind. [Isa 66:22; 2 Peter 3:13; Rev 21:1.]

Dan 9:13-15 NKJV "As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. 14 Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice.

Dan 10:21 NKJV But I will tell you what is noted in the Scripture of Truth. (No one upholds me against these, except Michael your prince.

Hos 4:1-3 NKJV      God's Charge Against Israel
Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, For the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: "There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land.  2 By swearing and lying, Killing and stealing and committing adultery, They break all restraint, With bloodshed upon bloodshed.  3 Therefore the land will mourn; And everyone who dwells there will waste away With the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.

Matt 22:16 AMP And they sent their disciples to Him along with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that You are sincere and what You profess to be and that You teach the way of God truthfully, regardless of consequences and being afraid of no man; for You are impartial and do not regard either the person or the position of anyone.

Mark 12:13-14 NKJV   When they had come, they said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and care about no one; for You do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth.

Mark 12:32-33 NKJV So the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. 33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices."

John 1:14 AMP     And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. John 4:23 AMP
A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.

John 5:31-34   NKJV            The Fourfold Witness    "If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true.  32 There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true.  33 You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.

John 8:31-32 NKJV Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

John 8:39-41 NKJV   They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham.  40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.  41 You do the deeds of your father."
44-47 NKJV   You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.  45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.  46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?  47 He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God."

John 14:6 NKJV  Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:15-18 NKJV            Jesus Promises Another Helper
15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.  16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever —   17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.  18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

John 15:26-27 NKJV           The Coming Rejection
26 "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.  27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

John 16:7 NKJV Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

John 16:13-15 NKJV   However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.  14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.  15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

John 17:16-19 NKJV They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.  17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.  18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

John 18:37-38 NKJV    Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."  38  Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all.

Acts 10:34-36 NKJV      Preaching to Cornelius' Household
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. 35  But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

Acts 21:34 NKJV And some among the multitude cried one thing and some another.  So when he could not ascertain the truth because of the tumult, he commanded him to be taken into the barracks.

Rom 1:18-25   NKJV          God's Wrath on Unrighteousness
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Rom 2:2 NKJV But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

Rom 2:4-11 NKJV But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds":   7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness — indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.

Rom 2:17-24 NKJV           Gentiles
Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God, 18 and know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, 19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law. 21 You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? 22 You who say, "Do not commit adultery," do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? 24 For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," as it is written.

Rom 3:7 NKJV For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?

Rom 9:1-4 NKJV   I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, 2 that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, 4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;

Rom 15:7-9 NKJV   Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, 9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written:  " For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name."

1 Cor 5:6-8 NKJV Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.   8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Cor 13:4-7 NKJV Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

2 Cor 4:1-2 NKJV   But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

2 Cor 6:4-7 NKJV   But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, 5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; 6 by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, 7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

2 Cor 7:13-15 NKJV For if in anything I have boasted to him about you, I am not ashamed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting to Titus was found true.

2 Cor 11:10 NKJV As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

2 Cor 12:5-6 NKJV   For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.

2 Cor 13:7-10 NKJV  For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete. 10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction.

Gal 2:3-5 NKJV   And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage), 5 to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Gal 2:14-15 NKJV But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all,"If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as Jews?

Gal 3:1 NKJV       Justification by Faith          (cf. Rom 4)
3 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

Gal 4:15-16 NKJV Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?

Gal 5:7-9 NKJV   Love Fulfills the Law
You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. 9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Eph 4:11-15 NKJV     And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ —

Eph 4:21-24 NKJV   if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Eph 4:25  NKJV            Do Not Grieve the Spirit
Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.

Eph 5:9-11 NKJV  (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

Eph 6:14-16 NKJV Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Phil 1:15-18 NKJV   Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: 16 The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; 17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. 18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice.

Col 1:5-7 NKJV   because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

1 Thess 2:13-14 NKJV For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

2 Thess 2:7-12 NKJV And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

2 Thess 2:13 AMP   But we, brethren beloved by the Lord, ought and are obligated [as those who are in debt] to give thanks always to God for you, because God chose you from the beginningas His firstfruits (first converts) for salvation through the sanctifying work of the [Holy] Spirit and [your] belief in (adherence to, trust in, and reliance on) the Truth.

1 Tim 2:2-7 NKJV   For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle — I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying — a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

1 Tim 3:14-16 NKJV   but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,  Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,  Received up in glory.

1 Tim 4:1-7  AMP   BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach,  2 Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized),   3 Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of the truth.
4 For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving.  5 For it is hallowed and consecrated by the Word of God and by prayer.  6 If you lay all these instructions before the brethren, you will be a worthy steward and a good minister of Christ Jesus, ever nourishing your own self on the truths of the faith and of the good [Christian] instruction which you have closely followed.
7 But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers' tales) and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritually fit].

1 Tim 4:10-16 AMP With a view to this we toil and strive, [yes and] suffer reproach, because we have [fixed our] hope on the living God, Who is the Savior (Preserver, Maintainer, Deliverer) of all men, especially of those who believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to Him). 11 Continue to command these things and to teach them.   12 Let no one despise or think less of you because of your youth, but be an example (pattern) for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.  13 Till I come, devote yourself to [public and private] reading, to exhortation (preaching and personal appeals), and to teaching and instilling doctrine.

14 Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination].  15 Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody.  16 Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

1 Tim 6:2-12 AMP    Let those who have believing masters not be disrespectful or scornful [to them] on the grounds that they are brothers [in Christ]; rather, they should serve [them all the better] because those who benefit by their kindly service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties.   3 But if anyone teaches otherwise and does not assent to the sound and wholesome messages of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and the teaching which is in agreement with godliness (piety toward God),
4 He is puffed up with pride and stupefied with conceit, [although he is] woefully ignorant. He has a morbid fondness for controversy and disputes and strife about words, which result in (produce) envy and jealousy, quarrels and dissension, abuse and insults and slander, and base suspicions, 5 And protracted wrangling and wearing discussion and perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness or righteousness is a source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood].
6 [And it is, indeed, a source of immense profit, for] godliness accompanied with contentment (that contentment which is a sense of inward sufficiency) is great and abundant gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and obviously we cannot take anything out of the world;

8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content (satisfied).  9 But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing. 10 For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.

11 But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.

2 Tim 2:14-19  NKJV   Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

2 Tim 2:20-26 NKJV   But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

2 Tim 4:2-5 NKJV   For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Titus 1:1 NKJV -  Greeting    -       Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,

Titus 1:10-16 NKJV    For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of them, a prophet of their own, said,  "Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons." 13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, 14 not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth. 15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Heb 10:26-31 NKJV               The Just Live by Faith
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people."   31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

James 1:18 NKJV Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

James 3:13-17 NKJV    Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

James 5:19-20 NKJV    Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 1:22-24 NKJV                    The Enduring Word
Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

2 Peter 1:12 AMP   So I intend always to remind you about these things, although indeed you know them and are firm in the truth that [you] now [hold].

2 Peter 2:1-3 NKJV   But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

1 John 1:6-9 AMP   [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents].   7 But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].

8 If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we are sinners], we delude and lead ourselves astray, and the Truth [which the Gospel presents] is not in us [does not dwell in our hearts].   9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

1 John 2:3-6 NKJV   He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

1 John 2:20-23 NKJV   But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.   21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

1 John 3:18-21 NKJV   My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 19 And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

1 John 4:6 AMP  We are [children] of God. Whoever is learning to know God [progressively to perceive, recognize, and understand God by observation and experience, and to get an ever-clearer knowledge of Him] listens to us; and he who is not of God does not listen or pay attention to us. By this we know (recognize) the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.

1 John 5:6-7   NKJV         The Certainty of God's Witness
6 This is He who came by water and blood — Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

1 John 5:6-8 CJB    He is the one who came by means of water and blood, Yeshua the Messiah — not with water only, but with the water and the blood. And the Spirit bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 There are three witnesses —  8 the Spirit, the water and the blood — and these three are in agreement.

2 John 1-11     NKJV       Greeting the Elect Lady
1 The Elder,  To the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all those who have known the truth, 2 because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:   3 Grace, mercy, and peace will be with you from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

Walk in Christ's Commandments
4 I rejoiced greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, as we received commandment from the Father. 5 And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another. 6 This is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

Beware of Antichrist Deceivers
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.

9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.

3 John 1-4 AMP   THE ELDERLY elder [of the church addresses this letter] to the beloved (esteemed) Gaius, whom I truly love.  2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. 3 In fact, I greatly rejoiced when [some of] the brethren from time to time arrived and spoke [so highly] of the sincerity and fidelity of your life, as indeed you do live in the Truth [the whole Gospel presents]. 4 I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my [spiritual] children are living their lives in the Truth.

3 John 7-8 NKJV  We therefore ought to receive such, that we may become fellow workers for the truth.
3 John 11-12 NKJV   Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. 12 Demetrius has a good testimony from all, and from the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our testimony is true
