Prophetic Demonstrations for a New Day

Dearest Friends in Jesus,
(Some parts of this word may seem a bit disjointed. That's because I began to write it several days ago, and then was quickened with some little anointed inserts I felt led to put into it. As I re-read, I felt I was NOT to "edit" to make it flow better according to my natural mind, but to allow the Spirit to quicken the different parts in your own spiritual thinker so you can take away from it what is for you personally to receive from it.....This is long, so you may wish to read part of it, and then come back to it at another time. The foundations for this word began to be laid in my spirit about 12 years ago. I was in a church where from all appearances God was moving. Souls were getting saved. People were getting healed and delivered. The cream of the crop of nationally and internationally known ministry came through that place full of the anointing and power of God. They preached with authority. They "read people's mail." They encouraged the present vision of that church with powerful prophetic unction. What a glorious atmosphere to be in.......Right?? So.......what was wrong with ME?
I felt bored. Yawn. Been there, done that. Been to this same old party many times. I hated the attitude I was feeling within myself, and really sought the Lord to sweeten me up a bit because there was absolutely no legitimate reason to feel the way I was feeling, and there was nothing going on there to find fault with or criticize. It was genuinely a sweet-spirited and "humble" church staff. They were a "big" church. But they did not have that offensive and arrogant "spirit of bigness" that often goes with the territory.
And then one night, the Spirit woke me up suddenly, and spoke these words into my being: "The Changing of the Guard." I know others have addressed this subject, and because I am way behind on my reading of internet prophecies, I'm afraid I've missed what has been said on the subject. If I'm in agreement with them, that's probably the witness of the Spirit. If I am in disagreement with them, it's either purely coincidental, or one of us has it wrong, and we will have to pray for more wisdom and discernment.
Maybe I needed to get this word 12 years ago so God could prepare me for what is going to happen, and the changes that will take place in the operation of the Spirit through my own life because I am deeply entrenched in a spiritual heritage that has truly been my joy and gladness for many years, and so God had to do a bit more to pry me loose from things and ways I so dearly love in the spirit, and that have served me well.
And beloved, let me say here that in the move of God, there will be variables, but there is one thing that's CONSTANT. The variables will have to do with what God chooses to manifest in way of His gifts and power. Perhaps it's a move where there is an emphasis on getting the baptism in the Holy Ghost, and healing and deliverance. Or perhaps it's a move where prophetic fire and the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the atmosphere is so strong it makes your hair stand on end. Or perhaps it's a very joyful laughing and dancing move where people are literally drunk on the new wine of the kingdom for hours on end, or dancing before the Lord with all power and might even as David danced. Or maybe a combination of all of the above.
Being raised in a home where the move of God was always greatly appreciated, I have seen this CONSTANT in each situation: The presence of the Lord Jesus Christ is consistently the SAME, and the overriding element to every true move of God IS the awesome manifestation of His glory. His glory is more riveting than the prophecies, the healings, the preaching, the deliverances and baptisms.
What is the glory of God? It is nothing less than the aura of the Lord Jesus Christ eminating forth from His very person showing up in a space because HE IS PRESENT!! When you are upstairs in your bedroom, and one of your children comes in the front door, you may not see them. You may not hear them. But you sense another presence in your home. By their footsteps, it won't take you very long to discern who that person is.
For several weeks now as I'm praying, especially late at night, my hands have been getting exceptionally dry. As a rule, I would want to smear on the hand-lotion, but God checked me. He told me He was allowing my hands to dry out completely until I was literally miserably uncomfortable with them because He wanted me to rub them together until they were filled with fresh oil. So, as I have been walking and praying I would be rubbing my hands together, and a bit of moisture would return so that they would feel okay, and I would not need to run for the hand lotion.
He made it real to me that I was experiencing a prophetic demonstration. He is showing me that the old way of doing things, and the old order of manifestations regarding healings and miracles is passing, and will even be passing in a way that at times is going to make us miserably uncomfortable because we want to continue to cling to the old, and the familiar. But, something very fresh and new is coming on the scene.
The "rubbing together" of the hands is speaking of how deliverance, healing, miracles is going to come through relationship and trust in the body of Christ that literally brings healing........and that the "one man show" for the miraculous is passing as God's order. It had it's day, but the Lord is telling me personally NOT to look to such a thing, and to allow it to completely pass from whatever I desire in the way of manifestation from God. Will it be done away with all-together?? No.......because the Lord in His mercy sees people who are in need of deliverance, healing, etc. who in their immaturity will only relate to such manifestations, and therefore there will be a little "residue" left of the old. However, for those who have "ears to hear" the way the most purely exalts the Lord Jesus Christ as the center of attention in His Church and no man , is God's best.
In God's New Day, the way that most PURELY EXALTS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, is God's best and what is truly on the "cutting edge" of revelation for His Church!!
I have had two little incidences recently that I feel bear some witness to this. One was when I was in a little home- meeting where I was ministering, and there was a gal there who reeked of the need for deliverance. She was recently divorced, and her little children had been given to the husband because she was so messed up. My initial reaction was to want to lay hands on her, and rebuke the devil that was keeping her life bound to a pattern that was continually messing up her life. I felt I had discernment that she had a spirit on her that invited abuse and mistreatment, and that root thing needed to be dealt with before her life would ever truly get any better. I was sitting there envisioning myself giving that demon tormenting that poor young woman the tongue-lashing of his life.
And then the Spirit spoke to me to go and hug her, and pray for her quietly. So, I obeyed the Lord, and went over and very tightly hugged her and prayed for her softly in her ear, and she melted against me and cried and cried and cried like a baby. SHE got the love and attention she needed, and I could literally feel the wind being knocked out of the devil's sails. Something was broken in the spirit, and when we were through, her countenance was so clear and filled with light. Something had definitely LEFT that girl!! Now, had I originally done what my previous experiences would tell me to do, I would have gotten lots of attention for being so powerful and dynamic in the spirit, and the whole thing would have been more about the "ministry show" then ministering TO HER. I am feeling strongly that God is getting tired of ministry being more about the performance than about HIS very own direct involvement and connection with HIS people. The New Guard protects RELATIONSHIP more than it protects any ministry-driven IMAGE.
Another incident: It is very much my way when praying in a group of people to be very vocal. From praying over the phone with me, you would know that as you are praying for me, I am agreeing very much OUTLOUD all the way along. I feel GOOD about doing this, and that there is nothing wrong with it at all. I will hear every word you are praying for me, and it's "sinking in", and I'm in agreement, and I want you to know it. I want God to know that I am obeying His word about "agreement" prayers, and I want the devil to know it, too, as it's a "double witness" against him, and he hates it when he sees any unity in operation in God's people.
However, there will be situations where there is a manifestation of authority in the spirit through another person that is going to subdue what is personally within us--even things that are RIGHT and GOOD for the higher order of the present revelation of the Spirit at that time which supercedes even our own mindsets and thinking and ways of doing things that are all right and GOOD!!
When we come under submission to that ( NOT to any spirit of dominion or control coming out of their flesh ) in recognition of the anointing, there is a great power in doing so!! Here is my testimony on that one, and this is so much to honor the ways of the Spirit of God which are truly SO MUCH HIGHER THAN OURS, AND PAST FINDING OUT!!
The Lord has been proving that my youngest son has the gift of healing operating in his life. I know I've already shared some testimonies on this one. Well, recently, I needed prayer for something, and asked him to pray. Now, this child is very much used to how his own mother operates in the Spirit. I have raised him according to my own heritage in the things of God. He knows what I discern as bringing forth "life" in the Spirit, and all my "ways" spiritually. He has prayed with me a kazillion times when no matter WHO is doing the praying as far as vocalizing the need, I am always in the "back up corner" in the spirit telling you, YES, YES.......GO FOR IT!! Amen and AMEN. In Jesus Name, let it be so, AMEN!!!
Well, he was praying for me, and I was doing my thing that I ordinarily do. He stopped, and looked at me, and said to me in so many words: "Please be quiet, Mom. I need it absolutely quiet when I pray because I get distracted, and need to focus and hear my own voice praying only." When he said that to me, there was such an authority in the spirit coming forth, and I knew that HE knew what he was doing, and I was silenced. And then it reminded me of how Kathryn Kuhlman would require absolute silence and reverence at times when she was praying for people to be healed, as if she was hearing and listening what she was to say or pray next.
Now, my Stephen knows absolutely NOTHING about Kathryn Kuhlman as I have never been followed her closely as some have done, or made any big deal of her in my home. But I knew that I knew that he was operating in an area of authority God has given to him, and as I submitted to it, I would come under the blessing of it. God has given him a gift, and an understanding that accompanies it that others who have this same gift have also realized by the Spirit. As I stepped back to allow him to flow as he needed to flow to best introduce that gift into the present need, there was a RELEASE of the power of God! The New Guard protects a present manifestation of a true anointing more than it protects heritage habits!!!
Oh, Lord Jesus!! None of us "has it all" or "knows it all". The Bible tells us that we "know in part" and we "prophecy in part." However, every last part is resident within the corporate Body of Christ. How is the "part realm" done away with?? It's done away with when ALL THE PARTS come together to make a FULL PICTURE!! Perfection IS completion unto maturity, unto the measure of the full stature of Jesus Christ!! It's done when Jesus gathers up ALL THE FRAGMENTS THAT REMAIN , and fits them into His eternal picture of great fullness to be realized through His people! It's not just Jesus coming some day in the clouds of glory! It's Jesus coming THROUGH HIS PEOPLE in power and fullness........and here is the "secret".......because we have gotten over our "performance-oriented, side-show selves enough to ALLOW it to be so, by ALLOWING others to flow in the sphere of authority God has given to them without worrying how it will personally diminish US or our place!! It's the glory of God that comes from the honor of preferring one another above ourselves!!
There is a true submission coming to God's people, not this " diabolical-Nicolaitine-spirit -thing- that- God -hates" lording it over God's flock stuff, but a submission based on sensitivity to the Spirit, and through that submission based on sensitivity there is coming forth a revelation of the power of God in the church such a we have not yet witnessed! The New Guard is not afraid to honor one another, prefer one another, or submit to one another in love.
In Conclusion:
The Changing of the Guard is God moving spiritual authority from those with a ministry focused on the self-centered protection of their gifts and ministries and especially the appearance of having these things into a remnant He is raising up to have understanding of the superior power of relationship between the Father and His sons, a Shepherd and His flock in such a dimension of reverence that NEVER would such a one in the NEW GUARD even think to distract attention from the Lord Jesus Christ for the promotion of the gift more than the Giver of the gift.
The NEW GUARD is going to respect that each and every believer is truly a priest unto God carrying the ark of God, and the presence of God, and reverence will fill the church of the Lord Jesus Christ because the oil that flows down from the head (anointed leadership in the household of faith), and sanctification that comes UP from the feet (the people of God walking in dedication, and consecration to the ways of God) are going to cause such an integration between power and holiness the true riches of the kingdom of God are going to be PROTECTED and GUARDED from the THIEVES that would break through and steal!
WHO is the "king of the Palace?" It is JESUS !! It's the treasures of Jesus that the devil is after. YEA, even the "treasures of darkness" , even those that God mined out of the depths of the earth. What "earth" did God bring you out of?? The devil is after the GIFTS and GOODS of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the MOST PRECIOUS THING TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS YOU, and His FELLOWSHIP AND COMMUNION WITH YOU!! Beloved, the NEW GUARD is going to have a revelation that GOD is in the DIRECT-CONNECT business with HIS people, the people He purchased with His own blood, and the NEW GUARD is going to "GET IT" in a way the old guard never even began to perceive!!
Now, this paragraph is a very prophetic statement, and I feel a strong witness of the Spirit to what I am about to write. This is coming by a very fresh unction: THE NEW GUARD IS BIRTHED IN A PARADOX!! What is the paradox that will birth the New Guard? It's understanding the revelation that the CORPORATE CHRIST is coming forth in the earth in power and glory illuminated to the earth against the backdrop of INDIVIDUAL SAINTS, the MAN who opened the door to the Lord's persistent knocking for fellowship and communion (Revelation 3:20) with Him, that one who would not be deterred from understanding that the chain will only be as strong as the weakest link, and that power comes from communion in His presence!
But don't be discouraged if you feel that you might be that weakest link because all you need to do is stay IN Jesus, and here is His promise to you!!
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the thing which are mighty; And base things of the world , and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and the things which are not, to bring to nought the things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption: That according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 1 Cor. 1:27-3
The New Guard is PROTECTING the glory of God carefully making sure it goes ONLY unto Him! The New Guard is operating under a constant conviction that ALL glory must go to Jesus.
Let me close this out by saying that the guard may change, but the palace doesn't change.......the walls are still salvation, the gates are thanksgiving, and the courts are praise! The holy foundations are those which no man can lay than that which is laid which is Christ Jesus!!
